beat my friend's chevelle...
well i pulled up to my friend and his older brother in his 71 chevelle at a gas station after work tonight. i was talking to him and he was saying how he went to some street races and beat a few cars and lost to a few and one a burn out contest. i told him i had beaten a few cars in my max and he gave me the classic "in THAT!?!?!? riiiight..." look so i said, line up at the light. so we went at it. well first, i had a TERRIBLE launch, tires spinning like all he11 but after i got traction and shifted to 2nd i jumped a car on him, by 3rd i was a car and a half and he seemed to be pacing me, but by half way through 4th i was a good 3 or 4 cars ahead. we pulled over on my road and we talked. he was like WTF!!! i asked him what happened cuz i was shocked that i won. and he said his 350 was in the shop be bored out to a 383 stroker and he only had a 305 in the car. wow, i was still suprised. but once again THE MAX PREVAILS!!! muwahahahaha...
btw, i'm typing this on my new 2ghz dell computer yum.... |
haha my friend just called and said his brother was ****ed that a 4 door beat him! haha!

My friend has a 1970 Chevelle SS with a 350 bored over to something like 365, he also has dual 2.5' flowmaster exaust, MSD and a 2spd auto magic. Anyways I always spank him :laugh:. The thing is so heavy it can't get off the line very well, once it get's going it moves pretty good though. BTW you should have seen the look on his face when I spanked him with my 95 max when it was stock. MY SC I30 really walked him on low end and high end. My friend is in the proscess of installing a modded 454 now! I better watch out :goofy: . |
nice to see technology overcome muscle. Now if only those damn 3.8L V-6 rustangs and camaros figured out that neither of them are fast.

Yep,
I had a run in with a rustang yesterday. At a light I hear him pull next to me and comment on those cheesy GT emblems I have, which is exactly why they are there, so I put it in reverse, roll back to him and say if ya wanna race just ask. He said no cause he had three peeps in the car. I felt like spittin on him. It was a 2000 V8.
