OEM Remote - No Horn/Alarm?

Hey, I have a 96' SE, and for whatever reason, my horn/alarm button on it does not seem to work. Everything else does, and the person I got the car from said it worked before they thought.

Any idea what it could be?

Have you checked the fuses that correspond to the alarm/horns???

Well, I had an issue about 2 weeks ago that ended up being a shorted out switch, but I checked all my fuses when I had that problem, and they all looked good then. The alarm I'm pretty sure still works fine, like it's supposed too. It's worked since I got it, I set it off once somehow.

I suppose I could test it tomorrow...a stupid question probably but, how could I set it off? Like I said I did it once accidentally, I never really understood car alarms XD

Sit inside the car, set the alarm, and open the door.
or
Leave your windows down. Set the alarm, reach in and pop your hood.

Alarm should go off.

Well, looks like it was just a faulty remote. Took it to the stealership real quick and asked if I was going nuts or if it was faulty, and it was. Must have been dropped one to many times. I've got another somewhere anyways.
