He's only asking for that amount because it's a $1500 Radio/DVD Player, probably with supporting speakers, and some "waste of money" hideous oversized rims and tires.....

Tell him... remove the sound system and put back the Bose, put the stock rims on, and sell it for the $1500-$2000 that it's worth.

The rims: ew.

And does anyone else think that in-dash screen looks 'shopped in? (Notice a few extra pixels of "trim?" on the right side, and the difference in resolution in the buttons?) Then again, I'm not an expert on photo manipulation, maybe someone else here is better suited to make these observations. Also I don't understand why a person would photoshop features into a car that they're selling to someone in person...

And if it's not, then it just looks ugly and hangs out of the dash funny.

yeah seems a bit steep for the car itself underneath the rims and sound system. The listing says OBO so I would try and and make a low offer and see what the response is.

lol good replies. I contacted the seller he said he didnt have the stock rims and tires, only those awful rims. I said I would buy the car without that cd/dvd unit for 1500, he said he got better offers for the whole package. oh well

I just paid $2800 for my silver 99 with black leather and 5 speed. My car does have 162,000 but the interior is mint and the car runs great. It is 100% stock and I am the 2nd owner of the car. So with all of that said I met the original owner with the original window sticker and when he told me he just used it as a commute car I totally believed him. I probably could have found something with alot less miles but 1. I wanted black interior, 2. I wanted leather, 3. I wanted 5 speed, 4. I wanted a 97-99. Took me forever to find one but I finally did less than an hour from my house... Keep looking man
