whats the point of the intake snorkel?
i have an intake on my max and i see that the snorkel leads to the intake box so i know that i know that i don't need that part, but i also see that there is a second part that comes out of it and i have no idea where that leads. If i don't need it i really don't need it then its just cluttering everything up but i don't want to take it off if i do really need it, can i just take it off?

The other part that you're talking about sounds like the resonator, which helps to quiet tings down a little. If you don't have the stock airbox installed anymore, you can remove all of it - the snorkel and the resonator. I think on my 95, that part connected to the snorkel via a plastic elbow and led somewhere behind the bumper. 97+ I think it leads somewhere by the battery tray, but I might be wrong on that.

hmm... there are two sensors on the intake. One thats chillin towards the fron on a metal bracket. And one that goes into the piping. But since i installed my intake, that enite snorkel is useless right? so what is the sensor readig?

Right now, it's not doing anything, but it would be best for you to put it in the intake airflow.
