Ahh help with hazard light plug

Hey! Tryin to pull my vents out and there are three plugs. I got 2 out of the three ( Hazard plug won't budge ). Does anybody know how I can pull it out? There seems to be two little black clips holding the white clip into its socket, but when i push those in and pull it still doesn't move!

I believe the clip for that connector is on top. It should be easy to find wherever it is, just use a pick or small flathead to release the connector.

Ahh trust me... Theres only two release clips and they are really small and on the sides. I try squeezing them and pulling the white part out, but it doesn't budge. I tried using a small screw driver to ply it out while i squeezed the clips but it sounds like its gonna break... ughh.

No, those aren't the release clips. There is only one, and it is on top.

What you're looking at, the two black tabs on the sides on top of the white plastic piece, releases the white plastic piece from the female connector. That white piece helps hold the wires from the harness into the connector.

Feel on top of the connector, it's easy to find. At least...it seems to be for everyone else :gotme:

Haha, I've never thought of that. Yeah he's right about it being on top because I've always wondered why they wouldn't put it on the bottom (due to the horrible angle you have in order to push it). Once you push it though you REALLY have to pull, like REALLY PULL.

A small screwdriver in the release will get it out. It just takes some finagling sometimes.

Or just get frustrated, yank the crap out of it and break the clip holding it in....

Not that I would know anything about that :wall:
