One strut or two?

I have a bad rt front Tokico Blue(w/ Eibachs). I've looked around a bunch on here and I know it is recommended that you replace struts in pairs. If the other strut is still rock solid, will I be struck by down by lightning if I don't replace both at the same time?

Also, should I DEF replace the mount/s? I want to order everything in advance as its my daily driver.
Thanks

How many miles are on the setup? If it's relatively low, say 5 or 10,000 then you might be ok with just replacing the one. Anything over that, I'd say it's good cheap insurance to simply do both. That way the car is only down one day, and it's only 1 front end alignment and your good to go for a while.

Are the mounts bad? If not, just throw new bearings in.

First time I've heard a Blue going out, regardless of mileage.

Sorry

Just resp PM. Bout 100K....so, I KNOW I should replace both....just wanted to save the bucks but the alignment is a great call. Better one now, then 2 total. Mounts "look" ok. How can I check and what about bearings? Just order w/ struts and replace bearings?
Thanks

It's def cooked. That corner bounces bout 3x. Other corners go down and spring back solid. In Northern VA...impossible to avoid occasional monster pothole

We have the shocks, mounts, and boots listed at
http://www.importcarpartsplus.com/maximasuspension.htm

If you need only the front. Then they are #HB3102, #HB3103. $112 shipped for 1 or $204 shipped for both front.
