Preventative maintenance while I'm doing my alternator

My alternator died and I'm kind of peeved. Multiple shops I have taken my car to have also notified me that my intake system is gunked up. So I was figuring I would replace the atlernator and serpentine belt along with taking off the intake manifold and manually cleaning all that stuff.

What gaskets/kits should I buy for the intake stuff? Also, while I'm in this area, what should I replace so things don't blow up on me later?

You would just need a UIM gasket and an EGR guide tube gasket. Also, TB and IACV gaskets if you're going to take those off and clean them.

Got any part numbers or suggested places to get those?

I'm half tempted to yank the motor and regasket/clean the whole thing. Unfortunately, I don't have time for that.

TB: 16175-31U01, $3.32
IACV: 23785-AD100, $3.11
EGR guide tube: 14722-38U01, $3.51
UIM: 14032-38U00, $4.46

Most people don't replace the UIM gasket since it's thick rubber, and doesn't really need to be replaced. That's just personal preference, I don't replace them either.

sweet. I figure I might as well for $5 and I'm already ordering stuff. I'd rather replace as much as possible.

Thanks!
