The EGR tube clean out seems to be a popular issue. You might want to combine it with the ever necessary upper intake removal & rear VC replacement. Kinda involved I know, but put it on the back burner, and serve it up when you get a chance.

The UIM removal would be great for a NEWB!!!!!!! Especially since shops want around 300 to remove. I can do it in under 20 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!! Well the 300 included removing UIM and removing rear vc. Still seems insane for someone to pay that.
You could do some on cleaning the TB and IACV. I've seen lots of questions in the past on how to do those. And it wouln't take you long at all to do that.

perfectly honest.. the org posses so much knowledge that i cant even think of anything that needs to be how-to'ed. mabey you could make an effort online here to gather some of the 3.5 swap info that seems to be scattered and get all of the general questions answered rather than havonig to read through multiple threads and such for general info.. im not saying DO a 3.5 Swap even though your fully capable im sure. im jsut saying that ive seen monkey **** fights more organized than some of that info.
that and. well the FSM pretty much tells you step by step how to build a maxima.. so my idea would be to help the helpless and see whos left over doing what.
we need new mods.

i think it will b nice to just have one thread that posses a ton of different info.
heres what i used to have to do.
1. figure out what im tryin to do
2. search and search and gather some info ( this was before i found the relevancy button)
3. if i dont find what im looking for i make a post about it.
4. 25 seconds later i get slammed by someone (pmohr) and he gives the link.
seems like this is just gonna save a lot of time.

+2 great idea and im sure he will do.
00vi needs one badly. There is no real right up on it and how long has that mod been available.
Iacv cleaning, Tb cleaning, VC gaskets, Radiator, themostat, injectors, Lower oil pan, Oil change, Bypassing the TB coolant lines, brakes and rotors, wheel bearing, Water pump and tensoner I know alot of these are common sense to us but someone who is not to mechanically inclined its not and this would be huge to them. But it seems like thats the kind of audience you are aimming for
I know you dont want to rip apart your car to do a writeup. But when you do them just cause you need to do them dont forget to video tape

Yeah that would be nice. I'm sure I could figure it out myself, but I would rather be shown so I don't screw something up.... and seeing it done is a lot better for me than reading about it.

TB and IACV are pretty hard to screw up.
What we need are tuts that there are for either "old" how to threads with the pics missing or complex things like replacing an auto tranny, replacing the steering rack, etc.

antenna mast
Antenna mast. I read six posts before I finally got the small bit of info i needed (remove the chrome nut/bezel first. I just think a detailed how-to with short video would be good there. Aaron

Took some quick vids on plugs/PCV. They're not as in-depth as the other videos, but it's a rather simple job.
Have to upload them to YouTube, should be up there in a couple of hours. For simple jobs like this, I probably won't do a picture tutorial (as many already exist), nor a post on the org. Subscribe to my channel or check the 'Howto' playlist for new videos.

True but i know he is trying to aim for the newbies. Yes alot of them are very simple but they are not so simple if you never have done them. Its always nice to have something to "show" you how to do things the correct way.
Hell when i first started here i didnt even know what a TB and A IACV was. Now i dont even have a IACV

LOL cluster. strut bar maybe....... jk
+1 on EGR tube removal and cleaning. It would be kinda hard to get a camera in those places with the engine in the car though... And yours may have mysteriously disappeared in 00vi swap
Also, maybe changing calipers -> bleeding brakes.
EDIT: isn't there a EGR work around, maybe you could throw that in somewhere 00vi

He does do nice things for people as long as one makes a effort. Hell even when you ask a completly newb question,he will give you the links, then he will just speak his mind as you very well know..........
