How are 99's and 00-01 strut mount bolt patterns different? (regarding stillen FSTB)
 

I bought a 4th gen stillen FSTB and I dont think its going to clear my 00vi.

I was looking at their manuals and the bolt patterns seem to be the same for both, only difference is the angle on the bar, compared to the straight through bar for the 4th gens.

Should I have got a 2000 maxima bar?

The mounts are the same. The bars are different. You may be SOL on this one as the bar for the 00-01 is a bit higher and doesnt clear the hood perfectly. Your hood will close but it'll slightly crease the hood where it closes on it.

I just checked, it clears but not by much. I can tell its going to be hitting my throttle cable bracket when rev'ing.

I've got a 5th gen FSTB on my 4th gen. Fits fine.

99blackmaxse has a stillen w/his '00vi it doesn't clear the e-vap stuff by much but other than that it's fine.

My Stillen clears with a LOT of throttle cable bracket modification. I had to bend the sucker all the way down so the cables don't hit when accelerating. Wasn't too bad. I ended up cutting off the cruise control slot on the bracket and dremeling a new slot in the same mount, but lower.

My stillen fstb clears just fine over my 00vi and i have the 4th gen one. :gotme:
