Custom Enterprise Springs on GR2's Feedback??
Anyone running Custom Enterprise Springs (aka Custom Maxima) with KYB GR2's can give some feedback on ride quality and handling??
These springs were originally sold with (and designed for) adjustable tokico illuminas and I'm wondering how they would work with gr2's.. For some reason I have a feeling they'd be softer then a spring designed for non adjustable struts.. Search didn't help much but gurus please feel free to speculate.. |
Can you find out the spring rate and drop amount? That will help us out, imho anything with more than a 1.2" drop MAX is going to be utter trash and just plain retarded. BTW nice dog.

This is what I found so far..
Drop is 1.5" in the front and 1.3" in the rear. Spring Rates are Front: 111 – 225 lb/in working rate and Rear: 148 – 295 lb/in. I did manage to find some old threads discussing the springs with illuminas but can't seem to find anyone who's run the springs with gr2's.. I have 2 10's in a basic sealed box behind the back seat too.. Not real heavy but it does add some weight.. BTW nice blonde :) |
I have the illumina kit. And it drops more than 1.5"...I know it advertised, but myself and others who have them noticed more than a 1.5" drop after settling.

as far as gr2s and aftermarket springs, id go with a better strut like tokico illuminas or kyb agx's. the gr2's are a tad better than stock but are mainly for the stock spring height |
