A bunch of CEL's, what could it be?

So i been having these cel's on for like past 4 months, just getting around to doing them... anyone have a clue where i should start?

P0130 - o2 Sensor Circuit
P0135 - o2 Sesnor Heater Circuit
P0155 - o2 Sesnor Heater Circuit
P0325 - Knock Sesnor 1 Circuit

i also used to have this code when i first scanned my car 4 months ago..
it is gone now... but i didn't do anything:
P0400 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow

this is usually egr related....

bro I would start with the O2 sensors then see where that gets you. has the car been getting bad on gas lately?

Infowire Jan 24, 2010 06:31 PM

yeah i get 30 miles less than usual. the o2 sensor has been replaced and so has the knock sensor.

Dhione Jan 24, 2010 06:37 PM

what O2 sensors did you repalce them with and which O2 sensors did you change? did you get the plug in ones or the ones that you have to splice wires?

Infowire Jan 24, 2010 06:56 PM

i replaced the one that is closest to the front of the car since that was the one that wasn't showing any data on the comp, and i got the o2 sensors that i had to splice.

internetautomar Jan 24, 2010 07:24 PM

double check your connections on the splice.
did you replace the harness when you replaced the KS?

defiance Jan 24, 2010 07:54 PM

Plug and play FTW ! The only things I would ever splice are Speakers...

Infowire Jan 24, 2010 08:06 PM

i had a shop do it for me.. since they owed me.

02 sensors arent hard tho. shouldnt be a problem. After replacing did u reset ECU.

Infowire Jan 25, 2010 11:39 AM

yes i reset the ecu. We had a snapOn obd2 computer, we tested the sensors made sure they were showing data.

smai555 Jan 25, 2010 01:32 PM

do u know the brand of 02 sensors?

i would check that harness and spice of the front 02 sensor
the harness for it is between the radiator fan and slave cylinder( manual tranny) or in that area

the harness for the left bank is near the firewall pass. side on a bracket ill see if i can find pictures of both for you

from what i have read it maybe just be loose causing the CEL to come on

or low quality 02s

Infowire Jan 25, 2010 03:24 PM

i think they are bosh, or whatever napa sells.

MaximusPrime425 Jan 25, 2010 04:05 PM

Are O2 sensors a DIY job? If i have a jack and a new O2 sensor and tools, then I can pretty much get it done by myself right? or would a shop have to do this....

way to hi-jack the thread

i did mine myself i got a 02 wrench from autozone it was a life saver and youll need pb blaster or some sort of penetrating oil

Infowire Jan 25, 2010 07:12 PM

you can do it yourself it easy.... they might be rusted into the pipe tho... might need to heat or something...

Infowire Jan 25, 2010 07:13 PM

Now to hijack my thread back, im go read computer data again tomorrow... see what the sensors say.

My buddy says aftermarket knock sensor might cause issues... ? but i dont think so

not likely.

2 of your codes are heater errors. that is not a code that a KS can cause.

FallenOne Jan 26, 2010 12:53 PM

That KS code is most likely a Ghost code, your 02 wiring is either wrong or the sensors are bad. gonna say wiring though.
