You may need to get (1) 2.75" to 3" silicon reducer coupling to fit the TB...and another 3" silicon coupling between the MAF adapter and bellmouth....

A large 6" airfilter....completes the package...I personally use a AEM dryflow....

Sorry it's a 5.5th Gen...but you can do the samething!

Only True CAI is made by either Injen Technology, or Place Racing. Others are mostly long ram intakes.

Get a cheap cai on ebay and then get a better filter. Similar to this, but you may find some cheaper.

This style goes through the fender for true cold air intake.

Check the How-to Section. There is a tutorial for installin a CAI. Its a lot more work and u need a drill capable of drillin a 3" hole under the battery to fit the filter in fender cavity.

THe best easiest aftermarket setup is the short ram intake as shown in the earlier post, BUT keep in the intake funnel installed so that the cold air is directed right onto the cone filter

This.

The "Cold Air Intakes" you guys are getting aren't sucking in cold air, the best intake for our cars is sadly the stock one with mild modification.

Finding a good filter could be a hassle, CAI arnt that good on our car anyway because of it sucking in water or other/bad power anyways. I personally went with a Short Intake because it creats an epic sound and I KNOW it gives more power because I accidentally am doing burnouts in my auto....

Finding a good filter can be a hassle??? Have you heard of K&N? How about part #RE-0930. That's what I've got.
A CAI isn't going to suck in water unless your car is in a foot of water. By then, the car will have more water damage anyway. Drive around the puddles if you can.
It may not give much power, but that's not what the OP was asking. He asked about a CAI, and that's the info. I gave him.

THROTTLE RESPONSE is awesome!!!! It's an auto and creeping about 10-15 mph and stepping into the throttle less than half way breaks the tires loose (245/40/18 Nitto 555 extremes)...My setup is very responsive and linear

Yo man...i gotta do it too!!!!! lol. There is definitely no loss in air with a filter that big.

LEt me ask this...when accelerating, even under low throttle, can u hear the engine "suck" in air. Its a brief hiss.

Stock system is good. But after having 2 4th gens and 2 stock setups. I have to do the short ram and exhaust.
