Window Visor Help

Installation seems straightforward. However, do I install the 3M side against the rubber strip below or above the chrome trim along the top of door window?

Tape is pretty narrow and it's either over or under. Doesn't look like it will fir over the chrome trim. Instructions do not specify.

Just want to get it right the first time.

Thanks!

it attaches to the 'body' not the trim. - put tape on part, then place on car - slowly remove the backing (2nd side of sticky tape)

If you had asked about these before buying - I would have told you to get the in track version, they just work better.

Thanks!

Test fitted but haven't installed yet. Doesn't seem to fit any better against body vs. rubber.

Anyone else with experience or pics with tape-on visors? Also, what about excessive wind noise?

It's on a Toyota - but it's the same for any of the tape on versions

Edit: - fyi - David Maus is a dealer 'local' to me, and I choose the vid due to it being a 4 door car.

Thanks for the video. Unfortunately, the Max's window edge is not smooth like the Toyota's so there's very little flat surface area for the 3M tape to stick to.

My concern is that the visor will fly off.

Bit the bullet and installed the visors over the chrome strip. Below or above didn't seem to fit right, but now I have a slight gap above the side mirrors. Anyways, looks pretty secure. Test drove today and didn't hear any excessive wind noise.

I'd get the in-channel model if I had the funds, but these were only $30/shipped off ebay and give the Max a sportier look.
