i was just wondering what are the best oem bi-xenon projectors out there that will fit into a 4th gen housing. Give me a list of top 5 oem projectors. Anywhere i can get them for cheap?

Acura TL Bi-Xenon's with ZKW or ZKW Replica lense is probably the ultimate best.

That's what I'm running (TL w/ ZKW replicas) and I don't know if you can get better than what I have.

I'm a fan of the TRS FX-R projectors. They are more compact than the TL's are, and have some improvements off the FX projectors (clear lenses, color mod, etc). I made a set on my wife's SE-R. My first retro, but it turned out alright.

Agreed. For the price and size you can't beat the FX-R's if you must have bi-xenon capability. The TL's are fantastic but be prepared to chew up the rear housings to fit them.

But "best" is such a relative term. What are you looking for? Width? Cutoff? Distance?

I just did an FX retro with FXR lenses on my R34s. Purple/blue cutoff, amazing output. Its kick ***. Didnt even have to mod the headlight housings at all.

Im also looking for projectors to retro my R34s. Still havent found a place to order them (somewhere I wont pay too much). I like the tsx and tl projectors. Would any other bulb fit in them (thats not for them offcoarse) as long as the bulb is the same length, and held in place with something?

I have done FX's, and TL's. The TL's do outperform the FX's but god damn are they huge. i have fx's in all of my dd's and tl's in the weekend car.

what are the dimensions of a stock maxima headlight? How do you know which projectors will fit or not? Would a hella e55 projector fit? any of you guys find projectors in a junk yard? i've checked out a couple today but no luck. let me know!
