No power

I went to start my car and it made a clicking sound for a few seconds and that was it. Tried to start it again and I got nothing. No lights on the dash, no power seat, or anything. Suggestions appreciated

Battery consistently reads 11.9-12 volts

Puel pump, starter, battery, alternator.

Most likely battery?
Check connection, put it on a charger or take the battery somewhere to test it.

That's very strange, because your car isn't getting power, its the 96 right? So its the same as my 95, when my starter went out, the lights and stuff still worked..... so, it HAS to be electrical doesn't it?

Make sure that your battery connections arent loose or disconnected. Ive actually had my postive wire almost cut in half somehow. Just follow the wires from the battery.

ignition switch.. and check all fuses

Replaced the ignition switch today. In the morning im going to replace the 10A battery fuse under the dash, the 140A battery, and 75A battery ignition fusible links and see what happens

it's your battery trust me.A fully charged battery should read 12.6.11.9 to 12.0 is too low. After you put the new battery in make sure your alternator is working properly if you have a volt meter.Try jumping your car then you'll know.

It is fixed. It was a combination of the ignition switch and 140 amp battery fusible link. Now to find the rubber burning smell in the engine bay
