No ABS!?!?!?!?

I just noticed something today that i hadn't figured out. I don't have ABS. I have a 97 GLE and I could have sworn it came with it. I called my local Nissan dealer and they said the same thing. Anyone else experience this with their GLE's? I am just amazed at how I can get a GLE with leather, sunroof, etc with no ABS. Thanks

Unfortunately, Nissan decided to make ABS optional on it's cars for quite some time. I think the first time ABS was standard on the Max was when the 5 gen came out. Not sure though.

Yeah, Nissan likes to play with options

Fortunaltey now ABS comes standard on pretty much everything. My last 97 SE did have it and it saved my *** a couple of times in the wet. My newer 97 doesn't have it but the car still stops better than some GM piece o crap with it. Plus I've got fat rubber on it. I still miss it though.
