are se's supposed to shift like this:

ok. i got tired of the going into neutral ****. so i replaced the trans.
i got mine out of a 97 se.
the fluid was red.
no burnt smell.
no particles or anything to that nature.

so the transmission that i got before was from a gxe.

here's the "problem".

at light throttle i say 10-15%.
the car will not shift till you get to 20mph.

20% or more it shifts fine.
no slip's, no flaring.
though the shifts could be a little firmer.

though love the fact that it shifts at the redline at wot.

any idea's

Hmmm...this is just a ballpark check but I would check the TPS to see if its adjustec correctly along with the IACV. If those check out, I would look at the drop resistor as another check. Try pulling any tranny codes to see if it has any stored.

no tranny codes.
i did adjust the tps.
weird thing was with the old tranny every once and a while i would get the flashin od light.
and my codes would be tps and line pressure solenoid.

i could check it or adjust it for ****s and giggles.

drop resistor i might just switch out another 1 to raise the pressure a little.
and it does seem like a tps fault.
cause my friends cavaleir shifts the same way except with mine if the throttle was opened 25% or more it shifts ok.

also to piont out it does take a little bit longer when the trans is cold.

also i added a stacked cooler plate tranny cooler.
