Windshield Washer Pump

How do you get at the fluid pump to see if the connection is rusted or if you need a new unit?

Take the splash guard off from the wheel well and take a look.

pardon my ignorance, but is that the splash-guard directly in front of the right front tire or the splash-guard to the left but still forward of the cv? thanks.

It should be held by plastic fasteners or sometimes little screws. You'll see it if you go outside and look at your car.

Is the windshield washer pump in front of the tire or beside it? Does the front guard come off or the side one? Does the tire need to come off first?

The pump is located at the side facing the fender. Take off the fromt of the splash guard going around the wheel well from the bumper and you should see it there...its really not that difficult guy..even if you take off the wrong one, it can go back on you know..:gotme:

Ok, thanks. I have to manage my time working on the car, at this location, and need to know exactly what to look for b4 I get started. If I don't need to remove the wheel, that is a big help. I didn't mean to offend any moderators.
