Yes they do. They are known for the handling and comfort especially on a lowered vehicle

The point is saving money for a lot of people, not every has 1k or close to it sitting around for a good set of coilovers. I have S. Tech's and get compliments on how smooth the ride is for being lowered(in comparison to slammed cars). I imagine that H. Techs would be an even more comfortable ride and cheaper in some cases. but it comes down to peoples budget and preferences. i know if i had more money i would be getting a nice set of coilovers.

Tein does it very well, but that depends on if you are willing to spend the money for it. Other brands will still give you comfort, especially if your not going real low. I know that if i had the money i would get the tein basic's. You can buy my suspension! lol

Running 5 on mine was ultra stiff. Dropped it down to 3 which is not as painful. Worried if I ran it for long times below that whether the S-techs would ruin my struts by bottoming them out, but at 3 its not bad at all and they rarely bottom.

But he wasnt asking about saving money, he wanted to most comfortable setup.
The individuals that gave you the compliments were comparing it to what? Other spring and strut setups or coilovers?

Well, id recommend a true CO setup, which you go with is up to you and how much you wann spend.
For me, having a 36+ adjustable setup was just not needed since I dont think I would truly take advantage of all the settingsa however those setups do allow you to adjust toe/camber which is needed when slamming the ride.
But once you slam the ride, you will experience other issues besides the reduced ride quality.

well for sure im not going to slam the car on my 15s but coilovers are pretty much the way to go. I want to get this before i get new tires and possibly new rims. im thinking d2 or maybe just maybe tiens if i can gather that much money.
