muffler question

muffler question

i wanna change my muffler,but i want one that does not make the loud sound but i also want one that can give me more air flow as of right now i have on my car a magnaflow proformance muffler anyone has ever tried this before or anyone know about a muffler that i can use i dont wanna use the stock one,btw i also have on my car a warpspeed y pipe and a 2.5 inch catback exhaust so let me know guy i am just tired of the noise,thanks

Boss if the muffler still good and yur exhaust is loud, jus buss a hi-flow cat and a resonator thts not restrictive...should deaden the sound but still have that growl my 2$

No HFC's, they'll just add rasp. Get a bigger resonator welded in and you're set.

i have a huge resonator on there i just dont want the sound anymore thats all,there must be an upgrade that is quiet but,thanks anyway

I have the same set up, WS y-pipe and a Stillen 2.5 b pipe without a resonator. It sounds good, nice and deep but just a lil loud. And to add insult to injurey its a auto. So its anoying somtimes (coming from a 5 speed vtec civic) I miss the vrrmmmm*shift Vrrmmmmm....

You can put a stock or 5th gen muffler on. That'll definitely quiet things down.

Im running stock headers, warpspeed Y pipe, Test pipe (non resonated 2.5") 2.25 b pipe with a 36" magnaflow resonator and a 2.25 magnaflow muffler.

loud when i get on it but stays nice quiet for highway driving. my tires are louder than the exhaust at 2.5k

chris i was thinking the same thing too put a 5th gen muffler,i work in rockland let me know when u have some time mabe u can come by but let me know the day before so i can bring my car too work so u can hear it for ur self.........
