If that's the auto trans breather hose it's supposed to be like that. That one got me too. Look into the DR mod. http://jimesmaxima.com/DR%20Mod.html

Good stuff, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
I don't think I need full pressure shifts. Not sure if that will benefit me any for daily driving.

Thanks guys.

No it won't that DR mod will actually kill your trans in daily driving because the down shifts are so hard.

Is this the same hose that is attached with a clip to the hose that runs from the intake resonator?

Yes, it is suppose to be attached to a clip that runs on top of the hose going from the front valve cover back to the resonator. It does not connect to anything though.

Thank goodness. I was test fitting a midpipe there and yesterday morning i went to put the stock resonator back in and saw that hose just hanging there and thought....."shoot man i KNOW i only disconnected three hoses" and had absolutely no idea where it was supposed to hook back up to...but everything drove fine....Anyways...that's a big relief

It's only for shifting up at redline hence the micro switch. I dunno, you were asking about safc's and stuff.

As a forum owner myself I can tell you it didn't get reset. It could be that your posts or those threads got deleted.

That would have to be a lot of threads man....I mean i wasn't a "veteran" around here or anything like that, but i had over 100 posts...Then i went off to college and wasn't on the board for 3 months or so, and when i logged back in it gave me the "to prevent spam you must have 15 posts or whatever" and i looked and my postcount was 0....so i dunno.
