Coolant temp sensor for the gauge.

Blue plug is the ECTS Engine Coolant Temperature sensor. This sends a signal to the ECU that will effect idle speed if not connected. There is a thread about checking the sensor. The "plug" in front of this is the sending unit to the heat gauge on the dash. I believe there is also comments about this on the same thread. I think that if the single wire is not connected the gauge will not work but no effect on the operation of the car,
