Newish here (kind of) 95 maxima gle

So I had a 95 maxima 5 speed years ago and was a member (more of a lurker). Now I just bought a 1995 maxima gle Auto sunroof leather. Transmission rebuilt recently along with a stack of reciepts..

I have done the few necessary things I saw that were bad. lower ball joints (I replaced the control arms b/c they came with ball joints) Valve cover gaskets, Knock sensor, and camshaft position sensor.

Car runs like a dream and is amazing. It has 163k miles on it. I got it for 2000$ because the clearcoat is peeling off everywhere. Anywho, Love the car and so happy I got another one! I plan on doing simple mods (Intake/headers/eliminate cats) But I will keep the stock catback. I figure for the mods there is no need to get a big catback.. ANywho just wanted to say hi.

Heres a couple phone pix, The drivers side leather seat has some wear so the seat covers came with the car. Other than that the interior is awesome... It has gone so fast it peeled the clearcoat right off

My SE has heated leather You can tell it's an SE because of the fogs, whit faced gauges, sawblades and no woodgrain.

Cool b/c I ordered the amp intigration (sp?) wiring thing for mine. It would suck if I did not need it. But on subject, I luv my maxie pad

I was driving an 89 pathfinder that had been painted w/ truck bed liner lol so it's a huge upgrade for me.

Nice, I still can't believe I got my '96 GXE 3 years ago for $1k with 155k miles, just decided to retire her with 207k, but may keep in the driveway if I decide to repair. Good luck, I wish I had had a GLE

The cheapest thing to do to g et more performance along with some fuel economy is intake/ headers/ exhaust..

just start with a warpspeed y pipe, and then decide how loud you want the exhaust to be. i have a 95 gle with warspeed y and a monza cattback, and stock cat. not too loud for me, but its kinda drony sounding. maybe clean all your grounds and check for any codes like knock sensor, ( ghost code, wont throw a cell ) im rockin 214,000 miles and just did 1,600.00 worth of repairs/normal maintenence cause i want to keep her for awhile.
