Off-season tires go flat during storage

Taking off my snows after another winter, popping on my fairly brand new Pirelli P4 All-seasons, I realized one tire was almost flat.

Funny, is this a common occurrence when it is in storage, I did inflate, and for a few hour all looks well, but maybe I need to get it checked, and tomorrow is saturday, not too many garages open.

deff have your valve stems checked or the seal around the rim. maybe they weren't mounted correctly.

while my car sat for 4 years my winter tires were in my shed. the didnt lose any air in 4 years

Yeah that makes sense.

Took it in and had a nail in it.

had them check the front struts, the metal rod broke through. Probably accounts for that moaning sound.

At $120 Monroe's each plus $240 labor + $90 allignment, its ouch. :bawling:

could save $120, if I pried out the springs myself, but forget it.

Forget Rockauto, I'm in Canada, shipping and duty costs aint worth it.

It strikes me that you are taking off your snow tires too early. I wouldn't be surprised if you got more snow yet.
