Headlights and Grill Won't Flush
My 97 SE's headlights and grill used to align perfectly. After a bulb change, I put the headlights and grill back in but they were no longer aligned. The headlight assemblies were sort of sunken in and the grill stuck out because of this. For three or so hours I tried to get it right and finally gave up, realizing that I broke the assemblies somehow. I ordered two stock-like headlight assemblies along with a grill and they arrived today. After attempting to install them, I was presented with a new situation... The headlights stick out moving to the center (though it could be worse), making the grill look like it's pushed in. Going to the outer edges of the car, the headlights stick out less. How do I fix this? I did a lot of searching here and could not find a thread with an answer. Thanks. :)

Why did you remove the grill an lights to do a bulb change? There should be enough room to not have to remove them, look on the ground to see if any spacers could've fallen out, I've never removed my lights to kno if there is any sort of spacer.

The first removal was a month or two ago so there is nothing on the ground. I'll search around the engine bay right now to see if it fell down there but I doubt I'll find anything. |
I found nothing. :(

theres no spacers dude. you just align them using the alignment nuts on the back of the headlight.

Oh, I thought those nuts were just there to hold it in place. Thanks! :)

I figured no spacer but was worth a shot
