Where to get nissan qx windshield nozzles?

After reading a few posts about the QX nozzles, I went to my dealer website and there is no mention of this nozzle, at least not for 95-99 maximas....so my question is...

Where did you guys buy the QX nozzles? (was there a specific model?)

I heard about the murano ones, but you have to file them...so I'll stick to QX..if I can find them!

Thanks

I would also like to know this information. My nozzles have not worked in months.

If the pump is working the fix is pretty simple.

Remove them and soak them in hot soapy water for a while.
Use a pin to poke any hard debris out of the holes, then a quick shot of compressed air. They should be good as new. Aim them correctly, a bit high on the windshield, so they work good at highway speeds.

did all that..These nozzled sucked from day 1 when I bought the car new..I want a better mist on my windshield.
Thanks

Misting apparently instead of a squirt.

The factory nozzle have two very straight sprays and the QX ones have more of a spray that covers the windshield and gives you a better clean.
Sort of like when you buy windex and you have a choice of spray-mist or direct squirt.

Now, if you live in the north where salt, slush and snow is a daily battle, and that nozzle is literally life and death here, so when you need to clean your windshield, you want it to do a good job. The factory ones just give you a peehole view.

You have you live here to understand it.

Just go with the Murano nozzles. You only need to file down a tiny bit. Part # 28930-CA000.

Chris is that P# for both nozzles? or would I need to order 2?

Kevlo911 01-17-2012 04:21 PM

I have an 03 QX4 and it is NOT a misting nozzle...

I'm pretty sure you just have to order two. IIRC, the part number is the same.
