Maximeltman Feb 16, 2012 11:31 PM

I just spent like 20 min on youtube thanks to that lol watchin some steve meade

infinimax96 Feb 17, 2012 02:57 AM

Seriously, that bass is tearing the crap out of that car. Wouldn't be surprised if the chassis loses half of it's stability after a year or more of that kind of abuse.

To each his own. I love car audio, so that's absolutely amazing to me. Here's a shot of the inside of my 95 Isuzu Rodeo (RIP). 16 10's!

You can't judge sound quality based on a Youtube video

Distortion is from the camera used to take the video, not the subs.

As if that wasn't obvious. People..:jeffy:

T_Behr904 Feb 17, 2012 10:35 AM

That's alot of bass for such a small interior airspace. A friend of mine walled his Altima and turned the back half of the car into one big gigantic bandpass box. It's insane. You can't breathe sitting in the car.

That was the glory. I ran 1 Memphis Audio 1000D there; in that pic it was behind the front seat. Originally I ran an Ample Audio 800 and they were in the back behind the rear seat. I did one audio competition a landed third place at 157.8 db. Pretty insane. After I moved it up I cracked three windshields. Thank god for Glassmasters and full coverage insurance.

Rods03Max619 Feb 17, 2012 04:39 PM

Damn thats to much for me, Im cool with 1 or 2 12s, RFs and 2 sets of components......:D

Grimix Feb 17, 2012 07:49 PM

...Waaaaay to much base for a street car.... Currently I have 2 12's and I wanna downgrade to 1 and a proper enclosure. Car rattles annoy the f*** out of me.

CMax03 Feb 18, 2012 03:34 AM

Bass............

96blackmaxSE Feb 18, 2012 08:23 AM

LOL what a waste of a 5spd max!

19GLE97 Feb 18, 2012 10:21 AM

that things gonna start loosing nuts and bolts as it goes down the road, lol

essential1 Feb 18, 2012 11:03 AM

Car audio isn't my thing, but I can appreciate that.

GGENIUS Feb 18, 2012 06:29 PM

who cares? some people like music that benefits a lot from subs. if it aint your cup of tea you gotta atleast realize the thought process and science that goes into a good system.

Dracc Feb 18, 2012 06:59 PM

i ran 8 cvx 12's in my blazer for the longest, then 16.. now i'm down to 2 cvx 15's, once the build is done it will be 4 but i'm in the process of finishing my 4th order bandpass box.. i enjoyed the video but loosing the fuction of a sedan for audio is pointless to me

AznRyan Feb 18, 2012 08:31 PM

And I thought my old system was loud, lol

I had a 15 and 2 12's in a hatchback, with 2 1200 watt amps, & 2 1 farad power caps.

The subs were Orion H2's, those things were beastly ^^

Excalibur23 Feb 18, 2012 09:36 PM

Shift_A32B Feb 18, 2012 10:16 PM

I'm happy with my empty trunk

:mrgone:

The Wizard Feb 18, 2012 10:55 PM

No Techmaster, no care. :p

I wish they would have opened the rear door to show it off more.

Not my cup of tea anymore, but back when I was 18, all I cared about was tons of bass.

haha yeah, one of my old friends a eclipse that would do that to you.

ShocknAwe Feb 19, 2012 12:06 AM

eh ill take clarity over sheer power any day. 2 good 12's and about 700RMS is plenty for a max. Cool to see it though, wouldnt wanna hear it though lol

lyhnedk Feb 19, 2012 04:53 AM

maaad

Kuhn_man Feb 19, 2012 08:10 PM

Where and how would you mount up a 2nd alternator? The first one is bad enough as it is to get to.

metallic97gxe Feb 20, 2012 03:44 PM

h*ll if i know, thats why i want to see it im sure theres a way to make a bracket if other parts were removed

AznRyan Feb 20, 2012 05:42 PM

*Puts on flame retardant suit*

What about putting a 2nd alternator in the space that the stock air intake was? I got a big open area behind my battery, now that I got an injen cai installed.

My hunch is the AC compressor was removed and a second alternator was custom installed there.
