Time for new gaskets
 

So I was looking in my engine bay & decided it's time that I destroy these oil leaks...From what I see I need new intake, spark plug gaskets, valve cover sealing gaskets & valve cover gaskets....

I was looking at the second set because it says OEM so hey ...it HAS to be good...

the last one on this page because it comes with the throttle body gasket so I might as well change that too...Does anyone here have any inputs or suggestions on what to get? Anything to add or take away?

jesus, you shoulda done this a long time ago. you can"t go wrong with fel-pro, i did mine 2 years ago, make sure those spark plug tube seals don't fall into the engine. mine were hard as a rock. remember, just a dab in the corners with the epoxy. there's a write up in the stickies i believe.

word, the spark plug tube seal can seem like theyre stuck. might have to break em to get em out

Thanks, just added it to the cart & I just bought her the 2nd of last month so TECHNICALLY it isn't my fault lol I don't see it in the stickies but there's a couple good ones on youtube

Is there a type of lube to go on them? & can I put epoxy on all of them?

NO EXCUSES!!!!!! :o i spent 2 days cleaning up the max after i got her, under the hood, wheels, tires, body, glass looked liked somebody tinted it yellow from the previous owner smoking like a chimney. took me forever to get the nicotine off the god-damn glass!!! make sure you get the black gasket seal from the dealer, and squeeze just a little in all the corners and clean the edges real good before you put them back on.

p.s. please clean the frickin uim before you put it back on, degreaser and steel wool are your friends!! mileage please!!!
