What're the switches near the seat?

There's these two switches that glow orange when switched either way right next to the drivers seat / on the thing you lift to put stuff inside.

Those are the heated seat switches. They glow orange when theyr'e in either of the ON positions...it's a 3 position rocker switch...high, low and off.

There's really no need as long as they light up orange. My car had the same issue, no drawing but they worked. I just figured it out...

Are All 4th gens wired for heated seats??? I saw some in the junkyard on a 95-96 SE, and was about to get them but I wanted to make sure I have the correct wireing already in my car, I have a 95 gle with leather/automatic everything. Can someone confirm this

I would also like to know this . I need front seats and would like heated if possible.

NO.

All 4th gens were wired for POWER driver's (and in 96 onward) passenger seats. Heated seats were something that were only prewired on the ones that came with the option.

If you wanted to add the heated seat functionality, you will have to wire it up yourself. Read this thread for info.
