1995 131K auto

Startsand runs fine for 5 minutes or so them all of a sudden it stumbles and dies. Wont stay running and has zero power.

Codes:

p0130
p0443
p0325

O2
Purge valve
knock sensor

I never saw a o2 or purge valve cause a stall so I unplugged the knock sensor. Now it seems to run fine. I guess this was the knock sensor???

Could that be it? Never dealt with bad knock sensor so I'm unsure what it would cause.

Bad knock sensor would cause poor mpg and poor power, but wouldn't cause it to die. Unplugging the knock sensor is the same as having a broken one. There has to be an additional problem.

How do we explain it all of a sudden working with it unplugged?

Could it be a bad ECU, when knock sensor plugged in it causes another issue?

Any of the other current codes O2 or Purge cause this stalling issue.

What rpm does it idle at? Sounds like it you may have a vacuum leak, and it only runs until the IACV shuts.

what would p0443 cause the car do to and is it worse combined with p1400 ????

The purge valve will not cause this. Bad knock sensor may result in loss of power but not the dieing part.

The O2 sensor very well may be the cause. Bank 1 sensor 1.
Are you getting the P1400 on the EGR as well? Vacuum leak at the EGR?

Check for vacuum leaks after the MAF as well
