Nissan A32 lowering springs help!!

Hey guys I want to lower my car with lowering springs. I have a 1998' Nissan Maxima CEFIRO (A32) . I want it to have a sporty look that's all I'm after. I have two choices for springs one has the dropping range of 1.5-2 inches and the other is the 2-2.5 inches of drop. Anyways If I drop my car Do I need the camber kit? Will wheel alignment solve my problem? I don't want my tires to melt like ice cream. I can get it Wheel aligned after installation but I'm not sure if it's gonna require a camber kit for me. please I need your professional advice from this for I am new to cars and I chose the Maxima heheheheh THANKS!

Your going to have more than an issue with Camber with a 2-2.5 drop. With stock style struts your going to bottom out. There isnt much travel to begin with and even with Eibach springs 1.2" drop thats pushing it on stock style struts (especially if they are cheap or stock struts). Koni yellow > KYB AGX > KYB GR2 ≥ Tocico > stock

The best solution to this is Koni Yellow struts because you can modify the front struts with an extra inch of travel....google/search this. I just sold a set and theres another forum member who is GIVING away a set of blown ones that can be re valved....(another real good option).

I do have a set of Eibach springs for sale if your interested...check my thread. $100 plus shipping.

You wont need a camber kit with a 1.2" drop.

I currently run B&G springs with OE replacement struts.

I don't know exactly how much they truly lowered my car but they report a 1.6" drop front and rear.

I have zero camber issues.

This is the Cefiro with H&R springs and KYB GR2 struts.....a mild 1.5 inch drop (no cmaber kit needed), 16 inch rims.
Also, u should always do a car alignment after a suspension install.Name: I30t-RIGHT-SIDE-CROPPED_zps21d417cb-1.jpg

Here is mine with Illumina's and Eibach springs. I also have a 5spd and probably a full trunk.

I used KYB struts and Tein S. Techs on my 96 GLE 4AT. Since most end up lower on rear, I used 2.2" fr 1.8"rr
