Radiator cap stuck. Accidentally put it in backwards
After checking my radiator fluid, I unwittingly replaced my radiator cap backwards (the text on the cap should obviously be facing forward, but now it's facing the opposite way).
I noticed my mistake and went to take it off to put it on correctly, but it wouldn't come off.
The cap is sealed on correctly; it's not like it's not on. It's just that when I got to turn it, it turns and loosens, but doesn't pull off.
Am I screwed, or is there some trick or method to getting it off. This has had to happen to other people. I can't be the only one.

Unless you have some unique cap it shouldn't matter which direction the text is facing. They only go on one way. Righty tighty, lefty loosey, while pushing down in both directions. Again with a rad that is cool to the touch. Sometime the tabs on the cap will get hung up with the mating surfaces on the rad but it should come off with limited effort wiggling jiggling. Worst case scenario, you cut the existing cap off and buy a new one.
