I'm looking to lowering her. I'm looking at some tein lowering springs with 1.6 front and 1.2 rear on gr2s. Has anyone used this combo before and if so how was the ride?? Seen options for 2-2.5 inch drops but don't wanna have that ricer look. the car feels a lot better on the 17's than it was on the 15 steelies.

Anytime you lower a car you will sacrifice ride quality.. The ride will most likely be a lot stiffer.
Since when is lowering a ride rice?
The less the wheel gap the better the look.. Those wheel gaps between the fender and tire are ugly on the 4th gen. A 2" drop will give you a nice look. I would look for something in that range or get coil overs and you play around with the height till you get the look you want.

At stock ride highth with good struts and 235/45zr17, I love the handling of my max. I think the poor ride quality and added stress on CV axles is not worth the look of a lowered car.
Now with camber plates, and LCAs for correct alignment and geometry, maybe. But that's more than I have an spend, and again not worth the look.
