obx 3.5 headers installed on a 99 p0400 has arisen

Sup org,
Its been a long time since I've posted so here I am asking for assistance.
First,
99. 252,000 miles fed spec
Mods: 00VI upper lower injectors TB rear valve cover rear coils 99 iacv with adapter
Brand spanking new obx long tube 3.5 headers.
2.5" test pipe 2.5" cat back.
VAFC2
AEM UEGO wideband
Transgo HD2 shift kit installed in an 01 trans.

OK so as we all know the 4th Gen 3.0 has an egr. The 3.5 and 01 3.0 does not. So what I did was install headers that do not have an egr. All I did was remove the pipe that rubs from the egr to the header. I now have the p0400 (egr flow malfunction) obviously because there is no exhaust flowing. My question is......

how can I eliminate this code and "trick" the computer?

Thanks in advance

im not 100% sure on the 99's but on the older ones you can put a resistor.

Look in the FSM to see which exact signal causes the code and it should tell you what the nominal value of that signal should be then just replicate it

Cool man. Thanks for the help. From what I've seen the egr valve on the 99 is 100% electronic. No vacuum line. Its also the same as a 2000 egr.
