Cars clutch went out shop put a new one in but still won't go into gear

I have a 1997 5sp that's clutch was going out and I was driving down the high way and my rpms shot up whale driving up a hill big strugle and when I put my car into neutral it was locked out of the gears I waited awhile and put the car into gear whale it was off started it as drive it to school. After school on my way to the shop with my clutch masters clutch and flywheel plus a slave and master cylinder(900$), I meet another hill and my car just stoped moving all toghter wouldn't go anywhere in any gear so I got towed to the shop and had them put in all my new parts and now the car refuses to go back into any gears like on the high way, so the mechanic dropped the transmisson again and is going to open it up ($$$) and now I'm here so I thought I would get your opinion on this I since I searched and googled this and found nothing besides what I have already replace to be faulty in similar threads so looking for new ideas thanks sorry for the quick write up I'm stressed and in a hurry

Find another mechanic!

Clutchmaster has defective pressure plates.
Wish I didn't know from experience.

First of all, calm down. We can help you if you describe exactly what is going on. What does the car do, and not do, and when.

It would be helpful if you would spell properly and not use run on sentences.

It is possible that you are having problems with your clutch line. It is between the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder. This is a very common problem. The solution is a one-piece brake line. Someone posted about this earlier this week. Do a search.

It sounds like you really did need to have the clutch replaced. The clutch line is related to the clutch, but is a separate system. There is no need to tear into the clutch again.

Does it go into all gears with the engine off? Will it then move if you crank the starter?

If both are yes, then the trans is fine and your hydraulic clutch system is probably bad. Check for leaks and fluid level.

Don't they teach punctuation in school anymore? A paragraph should be comprised of sentences to read correctly.

Hey guys I have been searching the web and site since my car went in. The clutch line was replaced as well so it's not that. I don't know specifically what's going on since the car is at the mechanics, he currently has the transmisson out and is going to look it through. I will post again when I know what's the issue, thanks and sorry again to all the grammar nazi's.

I second the Pressure Plate as a possible cause. I had the exact same symptoms with another car, turned out it was the pressure plate.

Your pressure plate blew up. And your mechanic is raping you.
