Using PIAA 194's for gauge cluster

Has anyone here used PIAA 194's for their gauge cluster bulbs? PIAA makes several different versions by color temp rating, and I'm wondering which ones would be best. There are 3800k, 3950k, 4150k, and 5000k. I want to use brighter replacements, to look more like the brighter 2k I30 gauges without being too bright (or heating up my combination meter to the point of melting plastic).

Thanks :),

Yeah, I've heard PIAA is very reliable and good quality. Just wanted to make sure I don't end up with bulbs either too bright or too dim.
Thanks for the advice!

one thing to watch out for tho, i did that replacement one my gauges and i had like a 24 guage wire powering the 194, the wire actually burt out, i guess they draw alot of juice, i can not remember what 194 it was but i was suprised. I doubt anyone is really running a guage that small, but still its something to look out for.
