Im looking at some bmw e60 signals. They have a rectangular cut out to them...I can get the exact cutout to mount them in the fender. But have no clue as what to use to cut the shape.

Masking tape, straight edge, Sharpie, a Dremel with a quality metal cutoff wheel (as shown) and a steady hand are all you need.

I can't begin to tell you how many projects I've used a Dremel on...it's a must have tool in your toolbox IMO. There are many Dremel models, find the one that's best for you and fits in your budget.

Well, there you go! Get the cut off wheels and you're in business. Once cut, I'd use a sanding wheel too to smooth the edges. Then dab some paint on the edges to prevent rust.
