3" vs 4" Muffler

Researched around on some forums about exhaust size and possible power loss from it. What are your thoughts on muffler size? Still I have my 4" ebay muffler on, but considering switching to a 3" for a better, slimmer look. I don't know if I actually get a power loss. My whole exhaust is ebay. So nothing is majorly blocking flow. I know a 4" isn't necessary, but do I bother changing it? I don't plan on modifying my engine internally, because its a DD.

if you leave it at 4" you'll be the only dude with a giant fart can on a maxima. but it's up to you

Other than it looking like one, I'm glad it doesn't sound as horrible as a civic does with a 4".

He's not the only one

Although I do plan on changing my entire exhaust set up.

Mine looks the exact same way, with the gap between the bumper and tip.

Idk, I like the sound mine has but sometimes it gets annoying. It actually sounds nicer with the silencer in it.

I've had a full Greddy Cat-back on mine for a couple years now. I dont mind it, sits perfect, has a nice note and says Greddy on the side hahahahahahaha. Huge 4" tip no silencer, no drone thats crazy annoying, but hey thats what a stereo is for.

Yes the stereo does have a better purpose haha. Downfall of a 4" is the dirt build up, it comes quick. Easy to clean since I can fit my hand in it.

Yeah ... with the springs I'm running a do have to finesse some driveways and such.

The tip never scrapes, it's either the bottom front or bottom rear edge of the muffler.
