Running Rich Im stumped.

Im running rich on the car, I can smell gas when the car is running at idle. I checked my o2 V and long term fuel trims. I have a DTC for a EGRT fault, nothing else. o2 voltage as follows
Bank1 S01
min- 0
mean 0.3
Max 0.9

Bank2 S02
min 0.1
mean 0.4
Max 0.6

On long term fuel Trim should I be looking at the mean?
Bank1 S01 is at mean -1.9
Bank2 SO2 is at mean 1.4

Thanks if someone can halp.

Many of us have experienced this issue.
The injectors have plastic "pintle caps" which can crack, then leak. The solution is to have the injectors rebuilt. Or buy rebuilt ones on line if we need to get this done in a hurry. The front three injectors are easy to service . The rear ones require removal of the upper intake manifold.
Should you need to remove the uim, use the opportunity to replace and service some other items.

What are some good injectors you recommend for the 4th gen?

I had my original equipment ones rebuilt. The car had close to 200k miles on it at the time. Runs like new.

As fat as I'm aware, there is only one brand.

Wait for other members to reply. Injectors are a likely cause of your problem, but not the only one.

Have you checked your spark plugs for wetness when the car is cold? Usually the wet one is the cylinder with the bad injector. Plug would look different than the others.

For now look at the blue bar near the top of this page.
Find the Search. Enter leaking injector.
Read some of the previous posts.

Through what mechanism did you obtain those voltage and trim figures? Thanks

I used OBD link. I think Im leaning towards it being a slow response o2 or a dirty MAF. I need to obtain new Long Term numbers and see if it will show positive short trims.

Did you try using MAF cleaner? It's fairly easy and cheap to do, and if it turns out to be all you need, it can save you a lot of time and money.

I looked at it and it looked clean. I was persuaded not to clean it cause it can damage it.
