If some one could tell me the tps reset procedure I would really appreciate it

There is no "reset" procedure ... are you asking how to adjust the sensor by monitoring it's voltages based on the position of the throttle valve?

that would be my guess as i am going through the same procedure.

As discussed over the years the most accurate way to readjust the TPS is using a feeler gauge on the CTPS (Closed TPS) switch.

This bulletin defines that procedure

Usually the place that just serviced your tires (rotation, etc) takes care of that for you, with a tpms reader.

TPS = Throttle Position Sensor

TPMS = Tire Pressure Monitoring System

So in this procedure I'm not sure what tool is used in place of the CONSULT-II in order to reset the throttle position sensor idle position memory.

Also, this procedure doesn't appear to be applicable to the '99 model year.

Nope ... just checked the '99 FSM. The feeler gauge procedure is in there as relates to adjustment.
