starter motor rebuild

I need to re grease my starter because it is slow to release off the flywheel which makes a grinding noise. I thought I might replace the interior brushes while I am at it. Does anyone know a good source to get them from or are they a dealer item? Also are there other interior parts I should replace? 1998 I30 167K.

Not sure how difficult the starter is to replace on a stock motor setup (with a S/C, it is very easy because of the missing factory airbox. Just three bolts and one harness), but a new starter off eBay is only $35

You have to make sure you get a starter with 11 teeth. So far, I have bought 2 starters online and they both had 10 teeth even though the seller claimed they had 11 teeth. I am tired if returning starters. I would rather just clean mine up with new grease and a rebuild. Its less hassle at this point. I have to watch my credit card statements now to make sure I get refunded. Replacing the starter is not difficult.
