Slow transmission leak

See a few spots of transmission fluid and in the morning after starting cold the car "bucks" only when I shift into drive. Transmission going? Simple repair? Just trying to figure next steps. Have always drained the fluid, never flushed it.

Check your tranny fluid level. Fill her back before you drive any further.

Need to check underneath to find were's it leaking. The tranny cooler ports on my RAD rusted away at 141k miles so I threw in a new RAD from AdavnceAuto.. Two cooler hoses are linked between the AT and RAD.

If by RAD you mean radiator that may be a good point as I am also getting some anti-freeze fluid from time to time in the same area. I had it pressure tested to see if my water pump was failing. With 269K miles lot of wear and tear.

Are the leaks in the same area, especially under the radiator?

Has the radiator been replaced since the car was built? Does it say Calsonic on it?

Reason I ask is that many of our radiators are failing.

New ones can be found on Amazon and Ebay for less than 100 dollars.

Hi, I'm in morris county if you want me to take a look at it. I can also fix it for you.

Your ATF and coolant leaks are separate issues. If the RAD ports are leaking you can see that from above by looking on the back bottom side of it. If not there you'll need to drop the engine splash shield and check from underneath.

Do you have a shop in Morris County?

Clean your underpinnings and monitor it to see where it's originating....Is it reddish?
