Of course you can change tires of one size for the same exact size.

or you can google: Tire Size Comparison.
Tires which fit on our rim's might have different diameters. The tire size diameter chart will indicate how many percent your odometer will read from normal.

I have a 96 Maxima SE. It came with 15 inch Sawblade rims. I saw a deal on a nearly new set of tires for a 1997 Maxima. It had 16 inch rims. The tire chart indicated that the tire diameter was identical. So I bought and installed them.

I have tires on my Nissan pickup which I also got a deal on. They are slightly different in diameter compared to normal. So my speedo says I'm doing 70 while I'm really going 65. So I compenate a little.

Another option is a set of wheels and tiresources which were from another make of car. They might fit. But the tire might rub beca use the wheel sticks out to far sideways. Or not enough. Called wheel offset.

No ... in order to put different tires on your car you have to change the tires.

Bald tires are unsafe for any road driving yes you should go to your local tires store and replace them with new ones. I would recommend sticking with the size the manufacturer originally used on your car.

Is the question about wheels and tires?

JvG 12-31-2018 02:41 PM

His question is vague.

I assumed that he wanted to install tires which are slightly wider or taller than standard ones. Or different wheels if different tire diameters.

But guessing what kind of replacement tires could be installed is an other possibility.

To the original poster..... if you want specific answers, you first need to provide enough information for us to even know what you are talking about.

Exactly. My head hurts reading OP's post.
