Spec of filter box-air filter hold down bolt

This bolt is missing and I'd like to replace it. What is the size, thread pitch, and length of this bolt supposed to be?

Oreilly has a selection of Dorman "gold" "body bolts" that say "Nissan" on the package, one of those would probably work...any help picking the right one would be much appreciated.

Arghh the stupid forum won't take my now .jpg file either...this is the single bolt, goes straight down, ties the air filter housing to the rubber grommet/threaded hole below it...

id grab one of the many 10mm M8 bolts from the splash guards and see if it fits in there. if so grab a long enough M8 bolt from anywhere.
its eather that or a m10 cant remember which.

IIRC it’s the same as the 10mm bolts that attach the air filter box bottom to the fender interior.

FWIW, you don’t really need that one.

With my back and forth with the OE filter set up and an SRI, I haven’t used that particular fastener in years.

Myself, i would go to HD or Lowe's and buy some assorted Metric Bolts and figure out which one fits, and then return the rest. You do not need to buy "Nissan" labeled bolts - it is a standard metric bolt.

Don't go to Lowe's or any hardware store. Most of them DO NOT SELL automotive bolts. Automotive bolts are fine thread, while hardware bolts are course thread. Meaning that automotive bolts have more thread per bolt of the same size.

So lucky. Hardware stores in my area only sell course thread. I have to go to Autozone or OReily for fine thread.
