I30 cluster 99 maxima
Hi I wanted to know if a 99 i30 cluster will fit a 99 maxima cluster and if so for the wiring harness plug and play or is there splicing that has to be done and if so how can I get it done? Please and thank you |
The 99 i30 and 99 Maxima clusters are plug and play.

WHat is wrong with your current cluster ? I have a couple of extras that I could possibly hook you up with what you need. Both are ones with the digital odometer. One is from an SE-L.

Nothing is wrong with it. I just like the design of the cluster for the I 30 as well as the I 30 cluster is digital my current cluster isn’t. |
Digital? As in the miles per hour is digital?
The service manual I have only shows an analog cluster with round dial gauges. I suppose there could have been an optional cluster. If so, I can't say that that would be plug compatible with the same amount of certainty. |

Ok so the odometer for the I30 is digital my odometer in my maxima is analog so I wanted to swap out my current cluster for the i30 cluster if it’s possible. Th i30 cluster also has a way better look. |
98 and 99 have a digital odometer. It's a complete rewire to install it in a 95-97.

JSutter - Are you sure that is from an SE-L ? I have an SE-L instrument cluster, and the background color is on the gold side, instead of the white as in your photo. I also have a set of the chrome trim ring - like in your photo - that I bought from a member about 15+ years ago. Not sure if he still sells them, He was located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, as I recall.

It's titanium, not white like the older SE. Picture is deceving.
The rings are Motostorm, I bet I've had them since 2003. |
