Door Switch Covers/Boots Still Available ...

Just an FYI if anyone is interested.

nissanpartsdeal.com still carries our door switch covers/boots.

They're $8.85/ea. + shipping ... I ordered all 4, so that's why this shipping confirmation is 36 bucks.

Perhaps a little spendy for what it is, but it's OE and this little detailie-type stuff is disappearing.

Again, just an FYI.

Yep. Actually, those boots fit a variety of 90s Nissan/Infiniti models. I havent't looked beyond a 99 model.

Is there a boot for the hood sensor? The boot on mine has split open. Not a huge deal as it's usually compressed and closed, but a minor annoyance.

Based on my shopping, that boot is still available but it only comes attached to a $48 switch.

I actually need one also.

Take a trip to the wrecking yard. You will find the same switches on other Nissan such as Altima and Sentra. All of the rubber parts you need should be cheap. You might want to pocket them while you spend money on other parts your car might need.

The last bunch that I ordered were for a Q45 back in the day of Order Infiniti Parts online. I might have a part number.

As a side note, when I get rubber grommets from a junk yard, I soak them in NAPA Ru-glyde. That seems to rejuvenate them.
