Backup & Dome bulb options. BRIGHT 2019
Hey gang, as the technology continues to improve,I'm starting a thread for the latest BEST options.
My Dome light is dull yellow at best. Is there an easy swap bulb using the existing socket with significantly more lumen output? Getting older SUCKS. For both me and the car!
The same with backup light bulbs. LEDs look like they can be almost be headlight bright. But Which? That can get us there without modifying the fixture and socket? It's not very clear when reading which need mods and changes for best results either. I'd prefer to do easy if possible. If mods are needed, hopefully the requirements aren't drastic for approaching dramatic improvements! A lot of bulbs may fit the socket (fuzzy with all the bulb letter/number codes), but are too long for the area provided.
Somebody has to know!
Thanks! Hopefully, many of us can benefit with sharing this info!

Oh yeah..... But there's a LOT of mileage since and I need to see that thing to make an educated decision......
And..... "If it doesn't say Sunkist, you never know what you're getting inside!"

For the dome light just get a 48SMD LED board. They usually come with adapters.
For the reverse lights these these are the brightest you can get. You can get them a few bucks cheaper straight from China if you don’t mind the wait but everyone loves Amazon nowadays. The only downside is that they fit loosely in the housings but your bulb covers will hold them in place so that they don’t pop out.
