Knock and O2 sensors issue

My 1998 Nissan Maxima gle has a check engine light that revealed knock and O2 sensor issues . Does anyone know what are the good sensors to buy with links to them .. Plus any video or websites on how they get changed? Even though my car has very low mileage is this one of the items that usually go first on the car ?

Thanks in Advance. Dan

A knock sensor code usually happens when another code occurs. The knock sensor is usually fine.

Do a web search such as 199X Nissan Maxima oxygen sensor replacement. That will list many past threads on this forum and others.

also go to YT and do the same search.

Do you know who makes the best oxygen sensors for the 98 maxima?

You’ve apparently taken not Jv’s advice seriously … and you’ve apparently not looked into this on your own.

Your local Autozone, Advance Auto and Pep Boys are acceptable sources for good quality oxygen sensors as well.

Agreed! NTK is the manufacturer for Nissan's OEM.

I prefer Denso O2 sensors personally but NTK is fine also.

Knock sensor I would change anyway. You can get a less than $10 cheapo from eBay and call it a day.
