Who has Nissan Datascan I that works on our 95s to 99s?

Bought a cheap laptop and the right cable and drivers and bought and downloaded the software and it's all configured and working.

The amount of things it can monitor live is impressive.

The software company doesn't really have much about what all this stuff it can do and how to use the information to diagnose problems, and how to appropriately tweak performance to keep the car running the best it can.

I've been looking online and there's some very vague references.

I'd sure appreciate if anybody can share how to get the most out of it and where to research what all the normal ranges are for all the different readings it gives. And anything else that would be useful!..

I would think Nissan DataScan II would have a lot of the same capabilities and cross reference points, so pleas chime in!

Please share your experience(s)!!! Maybe we can make this the one stop online reference repository!

Thanks!

I don't have any info to add, but I am curious about this. So does it provide more info than an OBD2 scan tool? Is it read-only or can it actually do things?

Only luck I had with utilizing Datascan 2 with a Nissan Consult was for analyzing sensors. Was able to monitor the voltages for the TPS, MAF, and O2 sensors to verify if they were in operating range.

I have a consult interface in the classifieds for sale:
