SWEET WHAT MODIFICATIONS DID U HAVE TO DO TO MAKE THEM FIT???

CKNY Feb 13, 2002 11:06 AM

woah.

Max79 Feb 13, 2002 11:07 AM

When I put my 20's on I had to roll the rear fenders because of the tires. Look in my sig. The 21's went on with no problem and rode beautiful.

AdMax98 Feb 13, 2002 11:18 AM

Wow, Im impressed. That actually doesnt look bad at all. They work perfectly with your drop. Now you need bigger brakes and a bodykit!
You should easily be able to afford those if u could justify spending 7K on rims :D

mass_maxx Feb 13, 2002 11:20 AM

Damm I am surprised they look so good. Not dissin, just didnt think they would look that good. BTW if that is your garage in the picture lucky you! I would kill for a place like that. Nice Rims!!

That is hillarious. Thats as funny as that honda civic with the huge exhaust down the middle. Only if you have 4 wheel drive.....btw is the car slower?

airmattdog Feb 13, 2002 11:41 AM

The hell if I'd want to ride in a Maxima with 21" wheels!!

It does look awesome though.

I'll give ya props.

:D

BlkCat Feb 13, 2002 11:42 AM

Is the ride any rougher than on the 20"?

SuDZ Feb 13, 2002 11:44 AM

The brakes looks so tiny in there. Like they are fake or something you should get bigger ones and it would look much more normal.

SuDZ

funkdaddysmack Feb 13, 2002 12:26 PM

Sweet mother of god, that looks so awesome!

jay_x Feb 13, 2002 12:33 PM

They look to big for the car, but if you like them, thats what matters. I would never try it here in the North East. I managed to bend a steely on the roads around here.

Seems like an airbag suspension would go well with them.

95maxrider Feb 13, 2002 12:56 PM

that crazy man. too crazy. i bet you'll get mad rubbing. i think 19s are the biggest you can go without looking sorta weird on a max.

Get some clear corners 1st :D

That looks pretty damn sick.... But they are too damn big...... must attract a lot of attention though

:) That is a very nice Maxima! I couldn't sit my car on 21' rims as long as I am living in DC;)

theblue Feb 13, 2002 01:33 PM

when I saw the post about you putting them on I thought  ... but now that I see them I think:eek: that is so nice looking. you really need a bodykit, but they are some of the best wheels for a show style car that I have seen. Shadow should get some for his car.

Prolepsis Feb 13, 2002 02:30 PM

Dude, that's a lot of wheel!

gtr_rider Feb 13, 2002 02:35 PM

THe old megamax is phatter then ever! I never thought it would fit!

GTRBlkMax97 Feb 13, 2002 02:50 PM

I was the same doubter but his setup when dropped doesnt make it as high as I thought. It looks almost stock height with the drop, obviously cause of the rims, but doesnt look overly tall or anything.

How heavy are those rims anyway?

i weighed my 20s with tires (245/35/20) this past weekend and they werre close to 65lbs each so i'd imagine the 21s are a bit more

FJC Feb 13, 2002 03:50 PM

Dub's are really meant to look all for the rear wheel drives w/deep dish apps & trucks but they look pretty nice on your max....

A little big for a max, but nice....

Rollin on 21's, top that...

Rubbing is not an issue.

The car rides fine on the 21's.

I had clear corners but trying to do a favor for the shop I work for I got shafted out of a set.

Max79 Feb 13, 2002 05:49 PM

To all the congratulators Thank You. And to all the Haters you can get the middle finger. I don't say anything about some of you guys cars because my car isn't perfect sitting on 21's and some of you guys shouldn't even have pics up but I'm not going to name names. Thanks Again.

MAXEJA Feb 13, 2002 06:08 PM

Are you from Va?

Car looks good I would just not want to ride on 21s personally!!
JCR;)

SLC I30t Feb 13, 2002 06:23 PM

Well since I'm the flamer on the other thread, I thought I should spread my love to this one as well.

Well, I did think it would be a helluva lot worse. And all in all, I will say it looks good for a show car-even a daily ride. I don't need to repost my thoughts from the other thread. Infact I'll even retract most of them, no wait no I wont. But it looks good:kiss:

Asian_N02 Feb 13, 2002 07:40 PM

you guys can hate on him all you want, but i think that looks good for 21s on a max...

thebigsadler Feb 13, 2002 09:17 PM

holy sh!t.. 21's on a max??

you are my god.

d_98SE Feb 13, 2002 09:18 PM

That's because it is! If you figure H&R's drop the car 1.5", and these tires raised the car back up 1.2". It's basicly the same height as stock.

2M0A0X2 Feb 14, 2002 12:27 PM

those are the tightest wheels

Stinger Feb 14, 2002 12:45 PM
